Eid al-Fitr holiday, believers pray/Message against wars from "Skënderbej" Square

Thousands of Muslim believers across the country are celebrating Eid al-Fitr today. Believers in Tirana prayed in 'Skënderbej' Square, from where they called for more peace and love among people.
The ceremony began at 06:45 with the reading of the Quran and a lecture.

The Head of the Albanian Muslim Community, Bujar Spahiu, described Eid al-Fitr as the holiday that reminds us of the highest human values: mercy, love, forgiveness and help to those in need.

May this day be a moment of joy, unity and kindness for every Albanian family, he said.

Eid al-Fitr is a holiday that takes place after the end of the month of Ramadan. The name Eid al-Fitr comes from the fact that before Eid, Muslims distribute alms, show solidarity with the poor, so as to celebrate this holiday together.

Celebrations The Master puts the whole of Bulqiza up for auction/ How the lands of Dibrani are being acquired for photovoltaic parks

The Municipality of Bulqiza announced the winner of an auction for the use of an area of 21 hectares from the forest/pasture fund in the village of Lubalesh, Gjorica Administrative Unit, for the construction of a park with wind turbines and photovoltaic panels.

According to documents published by the Public Procurement Agency, the auction was held on February 23, 2026, through an open procedure, and its object was the provision of land for the construction of renewable energy production infrastructure, including stations, foundations and supporting facilities. The contract for this auction was concluded on March 9.

The initial auction price was 176 thousand lek per hectare per year, which for the area of 21 hectares amounted to about 3.69 million lek per year. The winning bid was announced at 3,698,100 lek per year.

The winner of the auction was announced as the entity “Balla Energy Group” sh.pk, headquartered in the city of Bulqiza and fully owned by Artan Balla. It turns out that only one economic operator participated in the procedure.

The procedure for granting use of areas from the forest and pasture fund through auction is regulated by the legislation on public property administration and the relevant decisions of the Council of Ministers. According to these rules, the auction must be conducted as an open and transparent procedure, where the local authority publishes a notice in advance in the Bulletin of Public Notices and in the official communication channels of the municipality or the Municipal Council, clearly defining the object, area, location, initial value and conditions of use of the property.

However, in this case, there does not appear to have been a public announcement on the communication channels of the Municipality or the Municipal Council about the opening of the auction.

Ervin Salianji is running for president/ "I wouldn't even keep Flamur Noka as a guard in the DP"

Former DP MP Ervin Salianji has reacted harshly to Flamur Noka.

During an interview on the show "Kjo Javë", Salianji emphasized that Noka was 'the face of the DP's failure'.

He underlined that the DP must move towards important principles and be a free party.

"The influence of the state in elections is at a certain level and the influence of criminal groups is at a certain level. But if we stay only in this dimension, we will never win. We cannot be like Rama. But we cannot defeat Rama, with another Rama within the party. I would not even keep Noka as a guard if it were up to me. He is a man who has problems with the law, with criminal groups, there are accusations of corruption. And he is the face of the failure of the DP and the biggest accident that the DP has," said Salianji.

Asked why Berisha keeps him close, Salianji said that "only he can say those nonsense"
Oil price increase

The Government restores the Transparency Board!

The government has decided to establish the Transparency Board following the increase in the price of oil in the market, which has reached 214 lek per liter. The decision was announced by the Minister of Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj.
According to her, the decision comes after a detailed analysis of the market situation and recent developments that have affected prices.

The Minister also added that the Board will meet whenever there are significant changes in the stock exchange, setting ceiling prices for fuel trading. Violations by operators will be penalized up to and including license suspension.

Meanwhile, just two days ago, during a conference attended by Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister Karakaçi, Minister Ibrahimaj stated that the conditions for establishing a Transparency Board did not yet exist, implying that such an intervention was not necessary at that moment.
