Berisha appears in SPAK

I found Ergys Agasin, the frequent visitor of Surrel.
Democratic leader, Sali Berisha, appeared today at SPAK, in implementation of the security measure "compulsory appearance", a routine process that forces the former prime minister to go to a BKH agent twice a month.

After leaving SPAK, Berisha, speaking to journalists, returned to the attacks and accusations directed at Irena Gjoka and Altin Dumani, the first the GJKKO judge who ordered security measures against him and his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, while the other the former head of SPAK, who took the former prime minister into custody for the "Partizani" file.

But this time on Berisha's radar of attacks was also Ergys Agasi, whom he said is a "frequent visitor to Surrel."

"There I found Ergys Agasin together with Irena Duman, Irena Maneku Gjoka Dumani. Festonin, Gysi was celebrating that no international warrant has been issued for his arrest. Gysi is supposedly wanted, in fact, the most frequent route he takes is to Surrel. He is a frequent visitor to Surrel. Today I said Dumani also takes the surname Maneku, because in a more shameful, flagrant act of protecting the crime, Edi Rama and Altin Dumani acquitted Irena with five surnames," he said.

Mountain Package

MP reveals behind the scenes: Depopulation of villages

Democratic Party MP Denisa Vata has accused the government of implementing a policy through the "Mountain Package" that, according to her, aims to alienate property and depopulate rural areas in Albania.

She stated that this initiative does not only affect Martanesh, but all mountainous areas of the country.
According to Vata, the “Mountain Package” is “a mechanism for the alienation of property and the systemic depopulation of villages”, while adding that the energy projects being developed in these areas are “the government’s last resort to bury agriculture and livestock”. She claimed that agricultural lands and pastures are being auctioned and given to people connected to power for the construction of solar panel parks and hydroelectric power plants.
The MP rejected the government’s arguments for tourist development or support for former owners, describing them as justifications.

Vata also accused the local government of manipulating land data, claiming that it is being reclassified from “agricultural land” to “non-productive land” in order to convert it to energy projects. According to her, this practice is directly damaging the rural economy and leading to the abandonment of rural areas.

"I'm not against Ogerta"

April 17 as a test of strength
Rama and Berisha towards a street confrontation
The political clash in Albania between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is entering a deeper phase with wider consequences for the institutional stability and strategic direction of the country.
Tensions are no longer limited to routine political debates, but are extending to key issues such as fuel prices, corruption allegations and the European Union integration process. These elements are interwoven in a polarized climate that also affects the perception of institutional credibility.
Sali Berisha, in a public message addressed to his supporters, accuses the government of increasing fuel prices, arguing that the fiscal burden constitutes about 60% of the final price. He considers the government's intervention in excise duties insufficient and calls for significant tax cuts to ease the pressure on citizens and the agricultural sector. Berisha also links the economic situation to the political one, attributing responsibility for the obstacles in the European integration process to the government and citing cases that, according to him, damage the credibility of the country, according to an analysis by the Independent Balkan News Agency.
At the same time, Berisha adds a geopolitical dimension to the debate, accusing the prime minister of rapprochement with Serbia through joint initiatives with President Aleksandar Vučić. Berisha has also called for protests on April 17, aiming to mobilize social discontent.
On the other hand, Edi Rama, in a public communication through the podcast “Flasim”, rejects these accusations and presents a stable picture of the country’s development. He acknowledges the existence of challenges, but emphasizes that Albania is advancing on the path towards the European Union and expects positive developments in the future. Rama accuses the opposition of trying to create a climate of pessimism and undermine the perception of the country’s progress.
