We invite you to follow the Informative Edition with the main developments up to this hour of the day, where among other things we highlight:

An OSCE conference on media freedom was held in Tirana, where it was emphasized that journalists are increasingly facing threats and pressure. OSCE representatives underlined that independent media is a key element of democracy and called for improved legal frameworks, as well as more security for journalists. It was noted that the challenges facing the media are not only local, but shared across Europe.

In Albanian politics, clashes and investigations continue. DP leader Sali Berisha has accused SPAK leader Altin Dumani of property and document issues, and has also warned of criminal charges. Meanwhile, Ervin Salianji has appealed his expulsion from the party's leadership structures. At the same time, the political debate remains tense with mutual accusations between the opposition and the justice institutions.

On the judicial side, the GJKKO has decided not to change the security measures for two former KESH and ARRSH officials involved in the Llogara Tunnel investigations, while SPAK has obtained a three-month extension for the investigations. The house arrest measures remain in force.

On the ground, the social and economic situation is causing tensions. In Saranda, the demolition of an illegally built beach bar continues, while investigations are also related to suspicions of involvement of criminal groups and corruption in the police. In Vlora, traders have protested after the municipality closed the market where they worked, seeking solutions for their income.

In security incidents, the injury of a police officer in Shkoza has revealed a suspected assassination attempt with two weapons, where the main target is suspected to have been another person, while the police officer was accidentally injured. Investigations continue.

Internationally, tensions remain high. Donald Trump has warned Iran about stalled negotiations and called for rapid movement in the peace process, while Iran has continued communications through mediators, but the parties remain far from an agreement. At the same time, China-Russia relations are strengthening after Vladimir Putin's visit to Beijing and meetings with Xi Jinping, increasing Western concerns about the global balance of power.
