The Military Meteorological Service has warned that the high temperatures in our country are expected to continue at the beginning of next week.
Temperatures are even expected to reach 44 degrees.
"The heat wave has already engulfed our country, yesterday the thermometer recorded the value of 40 degrees in the city of Elbasan.
Today we expect a further rise in temperatures, which at midday is expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius in low-lying areas.
In the following days, this heat wave is expected to be present in our country.
High temperatures will accompany us until the middle of next week, where on Monday and Tuesday the temperatures will go up to 44 degrees Celsius," the announcement states.
