Vangjush Dako requests the dismissal of the case, the next hearing on February 2

The hearing for the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, will continue on February 2 at 9:00. Today's session started at 12:00 in the Special Court and ended at 17:00.

The former mayor has requested through the lawyer the dismissal of the case or a shortened trial.

Present at the session, Dako stated that the permit for the palace was a collegial decision.

As for the coastline tender, Dako said in the session that the project exists and can be verified. The lawyers claim that there is no criminal offence.

Vangjush Dako misused his office as mayor, while earlier he said that he had no knowledge and followed the law.
