Death of 15-year-old in the swimming pool of the husband of the deputy mayor of Gjirokastra Municipality, the court leaves Ermal Koko under house arrest

The Court of First Instance in Gjirokastra has imposed the security measure "house arrest" on Ermal Koko, the owner of the "GLOW" swimming pool, arrested three days ago after the tragic event in which 15-year-old Arbër Peçi lost his life.

The private swimming pool 'Glow', where the serious incident occurred, is owned by Ermal Koko, the husband of the deputy mayor. 

The hearing was conducted under the direction of Judge Ervin Kore. During the examination of the case, Prosecutor Nettila Miftaraj presented the arguments and evidence related to the circumstances of the incident that occurred in the swimming pool owned by the family of the Deputy Mayor of Gjirokastra Municipality.

On the other hand, defense attorney Ben Pasho requested a lighter security measure for his client.

At the end of the hearing, the court decided that Ermal Koko be investigated under the security measure "house arrest".
