'Only an idiot can protect Rama', Agim Nesho clashes fiercely with

Diplomat Agim Nesho has clashed fiercely with journalist Baton Haxhiu, regarding the "Der Spiegel" article, where he showed how Albania has turned into a narco-state and how Prime Minister Edi Rama works for local and international criminal gangs.

In a direct connection to the "Çim Peka Live" studio, Ambassador Nesho said that Haxhiu immediately preceded Der Spiegel's article with a comment that said that other countries also accept Rama's autocracy.

Referring to Haxhiu, Nesho emphasized that a person who protects a vulnerable person will either be an idiot or just a person who has a mission to protect Rama and he does that part very well.

To this comment of Nesho, Haxhiu responded by saying that the diplomat is unforgivable that the ambassador does not understand that the war in Ukraine leads to a lack of pressure from European countries because they have serious problems with a war and that war does not leave you comfortable and neither Rama nor anyone else is seen.

Studio Debate:

Nesho: We must agree that Batoni has a good pen and immediately preceded the article of Der Spiegel with a comment that said that other countries also accept Rama's autocracy and I saw it with suspicion because beneath his elegance to defend a vulnerable one will either be an idiot or just a man who has a mission to protect Rama and he does that part very well. My take on the Der Spiegel article, the point is that there is a regime here.

Peka: Only today Batoni did not defend Rama in any case...

Nesho: He has sugar pills. Ukraine, what connection did Ukraine have there to tell us those tales. Say there that it is a regime that is starting to smell and when Spiegel takes over, it is very important for all other diplomats, they cannot ignore it. It is the issue of a new relationship that they must reflect and this is a very important moment.

Haxhiu: Ambassador to deny Ukraine, to be in the shoes of the LSI and not in the shoes of the diplomat...

Nesho: LSI ran away in Baton time...

Haxhiu: When I read the book, I gave all my thoughts about the book, about the way of narration, and I liked the way you put those memories in a book.

But I can't believe you when you say now that the growth of autocracies is only due to the lack of internal democracy, no no ambassador, it's a lack of pressure from European countries because they have serious problems with a war and that war does not leave you comfortable and neither Rama nor anyone else is seen and only the consensus in the orbit of European politics is seen. The absence of democracies in other countries is less noticeable.

The fact that Der Spiegel has started a public battle with an article dedicated to Albania in this situation is not a good sign, and to deny Ukraine is to get involved in local politics.
