Greece did not sign the opening of Albania's first chapters with the EU, vetoing it because of the Beleri case.
Meanwhile, lawyer Spartak Ngjela, in an interview for Euronews Albania, emphasized that the veto is temporary and that after a few months Greece will withdraw.
Among other things, he emphasized that Greece is concerned about the fact that Albania is in alliance with the USA.
"It is temporary, it cannot be blocked, this shows that they are naive and wicked in international politics. This shows that they definitely love Himara. They tire themselves in vain. They will stay for a month or two months and come back. As it seems Greece has spent a lot in all aspects. Greece has a stronger point in Albania Himara. They have passed their historical weakness that they suffer for Himara. They are out of time, they don't have normal optics.
The rise of Albania in the international arena, especially in the alliance with the USA, has created concern. Greece will withdraw and let's see what they will do when the US intervenes. And the other, they owe 360 billion euros to the West", he said.
