The United States Embassy in Tirana has issued another appeal to Albanian citizens seeking to apply for a US visa to avoid using agencies or so-called "visa agents".
Through an official announcement, the embassy emphasizes the importance of completing the application in person and carefully, warning that errors or incorrect information may lead to visa refusal, or even a ban on future travel.
US authorities also emphasize that the online application is simple, secure and completely free.
“ Do not rely on an agency to correctly complete your application. Errors can lead to your application being rejected, and providing false information can prevent your future travel.
"Protect yourself and your data while saving money – skip the visa agent and apply online for a U.S. visa yourself. Remember, the U.S. Embassy in Tirana is the only official source of U.S. visa information in Albania, and we provide it free of charge," the embassy writes.
