The head of ARRSH, Gentian Gjyli, and Erald Elezi, currently director of KESH, appeared on Saturday morning at the GJKKO, where a hearing is expected to be held to verify the security measure. The Special Court has issued two "house arrest" security measures for two subordinates of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.
The Special Court will hold a court session today, at 09:00, to question and verify the conditions of the security measure against Balluk, Gjyli and Elezit.
Balluku was suspended from duty after being accused of the 190 million euro tender for the construction of the Llogara tunnel, an accusation that was officially communicated to her and is also suspected of the 20 million euro tender for lot 4 of the Tirana Ring Road.
For both tenders, worth 210 million euros, according to SPAK, Balluku predetermined the winner through supervision and intervention throughout the entire process of the competition. The case against Balluku went to the Constitutional Court, while she was stripped of her signature rights by the government.
