The National Water Supply and Sewerage Agency (UKV) has reacted to the situation in which the residents of the city of Vlora are, as they have been without water supply for four days.
In a response to "TCH", the UKV agency announces that work is underway to resolve the situation and that the materials ordered from Istanbul and Italy for the repair of the pipeline line are expected to arrive today, at 5:00 PM.
"It happened at midnight, on the 25th, and verification was carried out that night, but due to the terrain, it was decided that the intervention would take place the next day. Two devices were deployed that were thought to resolve the situation.
The replacement equipment is specific; it has been attempted twice, but the attempts have failed. The materials will arrive, with God's help, at 5 o'clock from Istanbul and Italy and the intervention will take place tonight. We will make an update later and notify the citizens. The problem was with the main line pipeline. The materials are specific, we have found them, they will arrive tonight and with God's help, we will finish it by dinner ," declared UKV.
