Analyzing the murder of Pjetër Kazë two days ago in a village in Lezha, Klodiana Lala stated that the phenomenon of blood feud remains an open wound in Albanian society, especially in the north of the country.
Lala further added that as far as revenge is concerned, the opposing parties were killed 3 years later by Ndue Kaze's brother and Pjetër Kaze.
"Ardjan Nikulaj is suspected of being killed for blood feud. We had a 17-year-old whose father was killed when he was 2 years old and then the public pointed fingers at him for not taking revenge and killing at a very immature age. The case of Pjetër Kaza is shocking, because it started in '94. His brother was a crime boss. In Mirdita, he was shot dead in a clash. The opposing parties were killed 3 years later by Ndue Kaza's brother and Pjetër Kaza. The author Martin Kaza was arrested in Britain many years ago.
While he is being extradited, in 2024 his other brother Augustin is murdered in Belgium. I suspect that the fact that the court, after many machinations, sentenced him to less than 14 years in prison for two murders has increased it. It seems that this light sentence has encouraged clashes and problems between families. Suspicions that he was killed for blood feud motives. He was killed in the yard of the apartment. The brother of Dod and Augustin Gjin is wanted. I don't know how much evidence there is to connect him to the event. The phenomenon of blood feud remains an open wound in Albanian society, especially in the north of the country," she said on the show Të Paekspozuarit.
