Former prosecutor Eugen Beçi spoke about the clash between Albanians that occurred the day before in Frosinone, where a 27-year-old Albanian lost his life as a result.
He said that the investigations have shown three key elements on the basis of which the Albanian gangs operate there.
Beçi said that in relation to the population, crime in Albania is very high.
"From the investigations that we have conducted with joint investigative teams, we have managed to ascertain three key elements that make Albanian organizations special. Albanians are a small nation and have close family ties. Having strong blood ties, they create criminal organizations outside of Albania, and as a result they are much stronger and organized.
The violence that comes and is generated by Albanian criminal organizations originates in Albania. The fact that you are killed for a slap shows that Albanians have a free life and the main risk is the fact that these people create money and bring this income to Albania and clean it, empowers them.
Albania helps the criminal organizations to continue the activity and Italy helps the organization to bring the money to Albania.
