AirlineRatings' World's 5 Safest Low-Cost Airlines award recognizes airlines with a fleet of over 50 aircraft that have an excellent safety culture and a very low incident rate. During the rating process, AirlineRatings.com is based on a number of factors, which include serious incidents, recent fatal accidents, audits by aviation and industry governing bodies, company benefits, industry safety guidelines, ratings of training of expert pilots as well as the age of the fleet.
With the award received by AirlineRaintings, the airline company Wizz Air reinforces its position as a world leader in terms of safety and environmental sustainability.
