
The turnout in the local by-elections is low. According to data reported by the CEC, by 14:00, 13.82% of voters or 29,948 citizens had voted. Mati is the municipality with the highest turnout with 31.50% of voters, while Vlora is the municipality with the lowest turnout, with only 9.38% of voters voting.
Mati is followed by Tepelena where 27.7% of voters voted, while in Cërrik the turnout is 20.35%, in Berat 14.3%.
From the data shared by the CEC, the majority of citizens who participated in the vote belong to the age group 65+. A low interest among young people in voting is noted.
