A 3-year-old child in the city of Durrës is reported to have disappeared. It was the minor's mother who filed the complaint with the police, where she said that the 3-year-old was taken by his grandparents 4 days ago and never returned.
A year ago, the 3-year-old lost his father in a car accident and lived with his mother.
Regarding this event, the analyst Mentor Kikia stated that the grandparents kidnapped the child in the full sense of the word.
Kikia said that regardless of any canon law or tradition, the child must live with his mother.

While here we have a lady, a young woman, whose husband lost his life accidentally and had a 2-year-old child at that moment.
And this lady is the child's mother beyond all customary rights, traditions, etc. The child belongs to the mother. This lady is the child's mother beyond any canonical right, etc. But she, of her own free will, has maintained relations with her husband's family.
Although he did not live with them, for the sake of the child's health, he did not break off his relationship with them. She has decided to keep him connected with his father's family. Then the child could intensify ties with the father's clan as he grew up.
