
The head of the National Emergency, Skënder Brataj, has given details on the situation created by the fire in Lushnje. He himself went to the field to assist the asphyxiated citizens.
In a communication with journalists from the scene in Lushnje, he said that there are 42 people who ended up in the hospital after the fire, but according to him, they are all out of danger. He said that they have signs of intoxication and not burns.
He also claimed that three buildings have been combed and only one remains, where so far it has not turned out that there are people trapped in the apartments.
" No one's life is in danger, there are smoke intoxications, there are no burns... Almost three buildings have been combed, this is the last one.
Every door is being entered whether they answer or not. The organization was according to the event, I do not believe that there will be consequences for the patients who are in the hospital.
If there will be, the teams are on standby and the hospital of Fier and Tirana have been notified. The children are a 7-8 year old and a 14 year old. Firefighters are inside the building and are opening the doors.
