The Biden administration has a strange tolerance for Rama's narco-state in Europe, insisting that 'Socialist Albania' is fighting crime, when the opposite is true...
Tuesday's highly publicized meeting between Alex Soros and Gov. Tim Walz (vice presidential candidate) deserves attention. The 38-year-old left-wing philanthropist is one of the most important players in American politics and beyond. That's thanks to his $25 billion fortune, which his famous father, George Soros, left for him to manage.
Calling Alex Soros the dark lord of left-wing dark money is no exaggeration. He is included in the Democratic elite, considering that he has visited Biden dozens of times in the White House.
Alex Soros was among the first names to endorse Kamala Harris, as she posed for a photo with Walz at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago last month, where the left-wing oligarch declared herself "Walzpilled!" However, Tuesday's meeting in New York City, when Walz appeared subservient to his benefactor, drew attention.
On the other hand, although almost no one in the media has bothered to notice, Alex Soros has some very disturbing foreign connections that deserve attention.
For reasons that are hard to decipher, Alex Soros shows a high degree of interest in Albania, a poor Balkan country of less than 3 million people that ranks in the global crime economy (Albania's GDP is the less than half of every state in the US, while on a per capita basis it ranks between Armenia and Barbados). That being said, Alex Soros spends a lot of time in Albania, hanging out with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Since 2012, Rama has run Albania as his personal fiefdom. By leading his Socialist Party, he has turned the country into an authoritarian cesspool of corruption, as even human rights bodies that are not critical of the Left readily admit. During Rama's time, the enemies of the socialists were attacked and arrested. If you want to learn how to use the law to crack down on political rivals under the guise of "fighting corruption," Rama's Albania is your guide.
What's even worse is that under Rama's rule, his small country has become Europe's center for the illegal drug trade. As a leading German magazine, which is hardly right-wing, recently put it, Rama "has transformed Albania into an autocratic narco-state".
The Biden administration has a strange tolerance for Rama's narco-state in Europe, insisting that Socialist Albania is fighting crime, when the opposite is true. Even when Rama was involved in the disgraceful corruption of former FBI special agent Charles McGonigal, one of the worst scandals in the bureau's history, the 'Biden-Harris' administration did nothing.
Is it worth asking if Alex Soros' friendship with Rama has anything to do with this inexplicable softness in Washington, DC? To say that the billionaire is 'in love' with the socialist leader is putting it mildly. Alex Soros appears in Tirana, regularly posting photos of his moments with Rama. He publicly calls Rama "my brother in Tirana" and "my brother from another mother".
It seems important to know why Alex Soros considers Tirana his second home. His deep connection with Rama is difficult to explain.
If the Harris-Walz presidency plans to allow Alex Soros to dictate policy in the White House, Republicans should quickly ask why the leftist philanthropist considers Rama's Albania, the definition of an authoritarian socialist kleptocracy, such a good model to was imitated.
Because if this is what the Democrats have in store for America, voters have a right to know. /Adapted "Pamphlet" from " Washington Examiner "
