In December 2014, he was dismissed from the post of Head of Commissariat No. 2 in Tirana and was appointed Head of the Commissariat in Bulqiza, where he stayed until February 2016.
And in Bulqiza, Ilir Proda was involved in bargaining with the owners of chrome mines, smugglers and murderers, and left there with zero detections and crimes, even through injustices, he exacerbated the conflicts between mine owners and between criminal groups.
But the chrome bosses and the "strongmen" of Bulqiza and Dibra, even the heads of the SP, for whom he had contributed to the collection of votes, transferred him to the section for the investigation of narcotics in the General Directorate of the State Police.
He stayed in Bulqiza until July 2019, when he was transferred to Deputy Director for Crime Investigation in the Korça District Police, when he stayed until October 2021 and left behind the same violence he did in other duties.
From there, Ilir Proda was appointed Deputy Director for Crime Investigation and Police Director of the Elbasan District, at which time, on September 17, 2024, SPAK seized his phone, with the indication of debunking the action to arrest the "Copja" gang and for other acts in favor of crime.
