While on October 20, 2025, the media reported the entry of "KAN Kosova" into the Albanian market with the purchase of the KFC chain, the documents show a completely different reality. What was presented to the public as a simple sale was in fact the finale of a well-thought-out wealth transfer operation.

The move that preceded the sale: A new company in July

Before Fatmir Zymberi appeared on the scene, the former offshore owners carried out a maneuver known in financial parlance as ring-fencing (isolation of good assets).

June 26, 2025: The company "Fast Food Albania" sh.pk is established with NIPT M51902019U. The initial capital is ridiculous: 100 lek. The address is the same as the historic KFC.

July 2025 onwards: This is where the maneuver you mentioned takes place. The real shares and operating assets (profit machinery, leases on 12 locations) begin to be transferred or legally restructured in favor of this new company "Fast Food Albania".

October 7, 2025 (Only 13 days before the sale announcement): The capital of "Fast Food Albania" is artificially inflated from 100 lek to 395 million lek (approximately 4 million euros).

So, when Fatmir Zymberi and KAN Kosova entered the notary's offices to sign the agreement, KFC's main assets were no longer in the old company Global Fast Food Albania. They were in this new entity of Korrik.

KFC's "Ghost Sale" / The public was told "Zymberi bought

What specifically did Zymberi buy?

This is the question that Albanian institutions should ask themselves. Zymberi may have bought:

The new company "Fast Food Albania" (so he bought it directly from the Dubai scheme that had just transferred the assets).

Or he bought the old company Global Fast Food Albania, which was already empty, without the stores and without the contracts transferred to Korrik.

In both cases, the real financial transaction was not that of a simple sale of existing shares, but a hidden reorganization of ownership where the first beneficiary was the offshore chain TP Investment Limited (Dubai).

Ghost Landlady: Not Lela, but Tatia

As if the disguise of the asset transfer were not enough, the identity of the seller is also distorted. Since 2024, the media has written about Georgian citizen Lela Gelkhvidze as the owner of KFC. But the Register of Beneficial Owners in Albania (RPP) dated July 2, 2025 shows that the real owner of 100% of TP Investment Limited (Dubai's parent company) is Tatia Pavliashvili, another Georgian citizen, with a 9-year history of residence in Tirana and experience at HR.com.al.

The "KFC/Zymberi" case is not a free market success, but a demonstration of the gaps in the supervision of the Central Bank and the Bank of Albania. While the public counted the new fried chicken shops, a neat scheme of asset restructuring and concealment of beneficial ownership was executed without being noticed. And as always, when the dust settled, the big money had flown to Dubai, leaving in Albania only the smell of fried oil and a new name on the signboard... /Pamphlet
