Several criminal files are kept open in the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana for the robbery and alienation of public and private properties in Bërxulle Municipality, which includes one of the most enviable areas for business and development, between Tirana and Vora.
Although there are criminal facts and all the elements for a structured criminal group, Tirana's prosecutors are keeping the investigations on hold, raising strong suspicions of bargaining with property robbers at the expense of the robbed victims (real property owners) and the public interest.
After confirming the alienation of properties with false documents and their use for money laundering by building resorts, warehouses, hotels, factories, etc., as well as the large number of former officials, businessmen and traffickers implicated in the collaboration, the prosecutors should refer the file to SPAK .
But what is happening?
The prosecutors of the case neither ask for the seizure of the looted properties and arrest measures for the implicated and the beneficiaries, nor do they refer the file to SPAK, but neither do they ask the court to close the case, since it is difficult to find a judge to sign the dismissal of this case , regardless of the money the criminal group can throw at it.
At a minimum, the prosecution should have requested the seizure of the looted property.
Public and private properties have been looted with false documents, passing from hand to hand, with fictitious contracts to camouflage the origin. Buildings with and without permission, businesses, factories, resorts and hotels have been erected on them, with suspicious money from drug lords, tender corruption and money laundering.
At the head of the group is suspected to be the former mayor of Bërxulle Municipality, today Vora Administrative Unit, Ymer Marku, who has wreaked havoc during the exercise of his duties, transferring large areas of land in the name of his close people. Mark's hand is Sakip Domi, a surveyor by profession near the former municipality of Bëxulla.
