Edi Rama's meeting with the administration and employees of the Municipality of Tirana, held in "Skënderbej" Square after the arrest of Erion Veliaj, was not an act of political or human solidarity, but a show of force to dictate distancing from the former mayor and to continue the well-thought-out scenario of his political annihilation. After starting the purge of directors and officials known as Veliaj's supporters, Babloku has also put into operation the media channels that he uses for selective attacks. One of these is the local television "MCN", whose owner is Endri Meksi, the son of former Prime Minister Aleksandër Meksi, otherwise known to the public as "Suda's Competent".
This screen has openly aligned itself with the anti-Veliaj campaign and has moved from voluntary service to paid service.
Recently, Endri Meksi was awarded a tender of 640 thousand euros for "dedicated optical infrastructure and data services for the Municipality of Tirana", announced and awarded by the acting mayor Anuela Ristani, who has become Babloku's tool to sign dismissals, appointments and public contracts.
The beneficiary company "MC Networking", owned by Endri Meksi, is directly linked to MCN television. We recall that Meksi has long-standing business ties with Olsi Rama, through hundreds of millions of concessions for the monitoring of online betting.
For this reason, he has been included in the state tenders and during the years 2019–2025 has benefited from over 14 million euros from institutions such as the Roads Directorate, the State Police, health institutions, education institutions and other central and local units. The case clearly demonstrates how Babloku rewards his propaganda janissaries with taxpayers' money, while using every public mechanism to execute ordered attacks on opponents even within his political house./ Pamphlet
