However, it is not the first time that Serbia is mentioned in the German media as "Unruhestifter" (instigator of riots), as specifically formulated in the aforementioned text.
DW's request to the Presidency of Serbia to comment on the article of some German media remained unanswered, but the reaction to the text in question came quickly from the Serbian ambassador in Berlin, Snezhana Jankovic: "No, Serbia is not preparing for war, but for the future ", she wrote. She in the refutation also published in "Welt". As she wrote, Serbia is preparing, among other things, for the Expo exhibition in Belgrade in 2027.
