A serious road accident occurred this Sunday in Turkey, where a passenger bus went off the road and completely overturned. As a result of the accident, 4 people lost their lives, while 15 others were injured, some of them in serious condition.
According to Turkish media, the accident occurred on the Malatya–Adıyaman road axis, specifically in the Doğanşehir-Sürgü area. This section of the road is known for its sharp bends and mountainous terrain, which makes it potentially dangerous, especially in adverse weather conditions or if the speed is not well controlled.
Rescue teams and police authorities quickly arrived at the scene, where they carried out the work of extracting the passengers trapped inside the vehicle. The injured were immediately transported to the nearest hospitals in Malatya and Adıyaman.
Turkish authorities have not yet provided full details on the identities of the victims or the exact number of passengers on the bus, while investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the causes of the accident.
