A tragic accident happened in Calabria, Italy, leaving 4 people dead, while another was seriously injured. According to local media, the accident happened near Montepaone in the province of Catanzaro.
The victims, three women and one man, are all young - from 20 to 35 years old. They were traveling towards the province of Reggio Calabria in a Fiat Panda, which collided with a northbound Fiat Idea.
The victims are Antonella Romeo, 19, Elisa Pelle, 25, Domenico Romeo, 28 and Teresa Giorgi, 35. They were trapped in the car and it took the intervention of the fire department to get the bodies out.
The two cars were completely destroyed and this makes you suspect that the collision between the two vehicles happened "head-on". The accident happened right after a turn.
