Former American President Donald Trump has announced today that he will hold a press conference in New Jersey regarding the charges recently issued against him.
He wrote: " A long, complex, detailed but incontrovertible report on the fraud of the presidential election that took place in Georgia is almost complete and will be presented by me at a conference at 11:00 on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Based on the results of this final report, all charges against me and others should be dropped. There will be a complete vindication. They never went after those who rigged the election," Trump said.
He then posted again a minute later writing “witch hunt” in all caps.
The former president has been indicted by a grand jury in the US state of Georgia in connection with efforts to overturn the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. Prosecutors say Trump and others "joined" in a conspiracy to illegally change the result" of the elections.
