The former director of the Customs Agency in Italy, Marcello Minenna, current environmental adviser in the Calabria Region and former adviser to the Municipality of Rome, has been arrested in the framework of an investigation by the prosecutor's office of Forli for drugs and corruption. Minenna is under 'house arrest'.
Minenna held the post of former head of the Customs Agency during the pandemic and is under investigation by the Forli prosecutor's office for the supply of masks, writes "Corriere della sera".
Also, 2 former MPs and officials of Ravenna Prefecture were arrested.
In total there were 34 precautionary measures.
The investigation concerns various episodes of corruption and stemmed from an investigation into drug trafficking.
