A spokesman for Iran's Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) has downplayed the effects of recent attacks by the US and Israel, describing them as strikes on "insignificant" targets.
In a statement published by the Tasnim and Fars agencies, he said that Washington and Tel Aviv have "incomplete" information about Iran's real military capabilities.
The spokesman stressed that Iranian weapons production takes place in secret locations, stating that "it happens in places that you don't know about at all," and rejected former President Donald Trump's claims that Tehran's military stockpiles have been significantly weakened.
At the same time, he warned of a possible escalation of the situation, stressing that Iran could launch "more extensive and destructive" attacks.
At the end of the statement, he issued a strong message to the two countries, emphasizing that "the US and Israel must pay for the aggression you launched."
