The Russian authorities have identified the perpetrators of the bloody attack yesterday in a concert hall, where over 60 people were killed and hundreds more were injured.
According to local media, 11 people have been arrested, including 4 of those who shot. They are from Tajikistan.
RIA and TASS both cite the Russian secret service, where the head of the FSB has notified Vladimir Putin of the arrests.
" The director of the FSB reported to Putin about the detention of 11 people, including four terrorists who participated in the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall ," TASS said.
2 of them were caught in a car while trying to leave.
" The 'Renault' car with which the suspects were moving was discovered at night in the area of the Bryansk region ," said Alexander Khinshtein. " The car did not stop at the request of law enforcement officers and tried to escape. During the chase, shots were fired and the car overturned ," he added.
One suspect was detained at the scene of the overturned car, he said, while the other fled and was arrested around 3.50am local time.
" The search for others continues ," he said.
The official also said that a pistol, a magazine and passports belonging to citizens of Tajikistan were found in the car.
The Bryansk region is about 340 km as the crow flies from the scene of the Krasnogorsk attack and is located on the Russian border with Ukraine and Belarus.
