UN Assembly, Stoltenberg: If we do not protect Ukraine, no nation in the world will be safe

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly declared that if the West does not protect Ukraine now, no nation in the world will be safe.

Agreeing with Biden, Stoltenberg said it is essential that the Ukrainian community continues to condemn Russia and support Ukraine in the ongoing war.      

" No one knows how long this war will last ", he continued, saying that "thanks to the support of NATO and the international community, Ukraine managed to repel Russia ".

Referring to China, Stoltenberg specified that it is not an adversary of NATO, but the growing proximity to Russia is a valid reason to strengthen the Atlantic Alliance.
