"Corrupt Belgrade", Serbian analyst: The media and the court are

Serbian analyst Aleksandër Popov has stated that nothing is going well in Serbia.

According to him, Serbia with Aleksandar Vučić at the head is corrupt, the media is controlled, the rule of law has fallen and the courts work as the government instructs them.

"For years, Serbia has not progressed in opening new groups and chapters, it is stubborn because it has not harmonized its foreign policy with the EU's foreign policy ," he said.

According to the analyst, despite these problems, Serbia still finds time to intervene in the internal affairs of Montenegro.

"The fact that Montenegro can become a member of the EU maybe even in this decade is, first of all, an encouragement for the current government of Montenegro to continue with reforms and insist on the European path after all the turbulence that hit and rather dispersed that European process. It was said before that Montenegro is the first future member of the EU, its entry would cost the EU less and the EU would show by that example that it is not definitively closed to the Balkans Western, that is, anyone who meets the conditions will be rewarded" , he said.

According to the Serbian analyst, this is a message for other countries on the road to the EU, as well as for Serbia.

"However, the regime in Serbia behaves like when a student gets a grade in school: when the EU criticizes him, the regime says they don't love us, they hate us, but when the EU gives money, then it's good," concluded the analyst. ./ Express
