US President Joe Biden said that Putin's only goal is to divide the West.
Biden also said that Western countries have been able to come together to ensure that the most important invasion since World War II does not succeed.
He went on to say that this is why Western countries continue to provide significant support to Ukraine.
Biden also said he has focused on strengthening NATO since taking office. It has expanded the number of allies and partners to 40 countries.
Asked about the Russian revolt and the information the US had, Biden replied: "We knew things ahead of time."
Biden declined to comment on what the information was about. The president talked a little more about Russia's war in Ukraine.
