Former US President Bill Clinton has sparked fresh concerns about his health after he was spotted with his wife, Hillary, in the Hamptons carrying a portable defibrillator.
According to the Daily Mail, the couple was seen at the airport carrying what appeared to be a Propaq MD Air Medical Bag, raising questions about the 79-year-old former President's frail health.
Clinton has a long history of heart problems. In 2004, he suffered a heart attack that led to bypass surgery, and in 2010, he was hospitalized again with chest pains and had a stent inserted.
In 2021, he was hospitalized with a severe urinary tract infection that had spread to his blood, while in December 2023, he spent several days at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington due to the flu.
In his last appearance, he wore a blue jacket and a beige hat, accompanied by his personal guard. Hillary Clinton wore a black jacket over a blue suit. So far, the former President's office has not commented.
In addition to concerns about his health, the Clintons are also at the center of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. On August 5, they received subpoenas from the House Oversight Committee, although they are not under investigation themselves. Their statements are scheduled to be given in October - Bill on the 14th and Hillary on the 9th - with it unclear whether they will comply with the request.
