UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has reacted to Russia's overnight attack on Kiev. According to foreign media, Starmer described the attacks in Kiev and across Ukraine as brutal.
"I am appalled by the brutal attack last night in Kiev and across Ukraine, which killed civilians and hit infrastructure," said Sir Keir Starmer. "For the first time, the heart of Ukraine's civilian government has been damaged ," he added.
The British Prime Minister also said that "these cowardly attacks show that Putin believes he can act with impunity. He is not serious about peace."
"Now, more than ever, we must stand firm in our support for Ukraine and its sovereignty," Starmer concluded.
