The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie Grégoire have decided to end their journey as a couple after more than 18 years together.
It was the office of the Prime Minister of Canada that announced in a press release that the couple has signed the separation agreement. The couple said they will remain "a close family with deep love and respect".
According to some Twitter and TikTok users, Sophie Grégoire and popular actor Idris Elba may have been having an affair after they both attended a charity event in London 3 years ago.
On March 16, 2020, government officials confirmed that Grégoire was being isolated after testing positive for COVID-19. That same day, Elba shared a video on Twitter where he confirmed that he and his wife had tested positive for the virus.
He confirmed he was tested after learning he had been in close contact with another positive case a week earlier, which was around the time he was photographed smiling with Grégoire to a group of people at the WE Day charity event.
