On Friday, the Jupiter Florida Police Department (JPD) announced the arrest of Michael M. Wiseman on a charge of Written Threats to Kill, after he made threats on social media to harm former President Donald Trump, vice presidential candidate JD Vance and their families.
Police say they were made aware of the threats through residents and numerous online crime tips.
"We take all threats to human beings seriously. When you get on that keyboard and want to post on social media, really think about what you're saying or making up," said Deputy Chief Michael Barbera with JPD:

Through an investigation with the United States Secret Service and the Palm Beach County State's Attorney's Office, JPD detectives learned that Wiseman had made numerous threats against Trump and Vance through his Facebook account.
This arrest comes a week after the assassination of the former president at his rally in Pennsylvania.
