Newly declassified documents from the US Department of Justice shed light on some of Jeffrey Epstein's communications with unknown women, including a bizarre request to take pictures of them dressed as the character from "Snow White," just three weeks before an email he exchanged with former Barclays CEO Jess Staley.
According to the Financial Times, on June 20, 2010, Epstein wrote to an unknown woman: “I would love to take a picture of you in a Snow White costume. Can you find one in a costume shop?” The woman replied: “I’ll take it!” Three weeks later, on July 10, 2010, Staley sent an email to Epstein: “That was fun. Say hello to Snow White.”
The new emails also include other correspondence with unknown women who mention "Snow White," but it is not clear whether they are the same person or their age.
Jess Staley had stated in 2025 that he had no knowledge of Epstein's criminal activities during their professional collaboration. He resigned in 2021 following an investigation by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) into his relationship with Epstein, due to a letter deemed inaccurate that downplayed their connection.
The declassified emails also show descriptions of women and young girls, including references to a 21-year-old woman and an email mentioning Milan as a possible destination. Staley's lawyer has not commented on the new revelations.
