The American Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, has declared that the country of Ukraine is in NATO.
He confirmed the position of the official Washington during a joint press conference with the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg in Washington, but did not provide information on when Kiev will become part of the Alliance.
"The doors of NATO remain open for Ukraine and it will become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance ," said Blinken.

He noted that Putin's aggression against Ukraine prompts European countries to join the Alliance to protect their citizens and sovereignty.
