A tragedy has occurred in the Greek city of Thessaloniki, where, according to the media of the neighboring country, two brothers, aged 38 and 32, have lost their lives.
The two boys grew up together and had a very strong bond with each other. The loss of their mother at a young age made them very close to each other and even passed away on the same day.
Thodoris from Thermi, was seriously injured after a car accident and was hospitalized for several days in intensive therapy.
His health deteriorated yesterday and he died of a pulmonary embolism at 2.15pm. His 32-year-old brother, learning that his elder brother could not survive his injuries, passed away a few hours later after hearing the sad news.
The 38-year-old died of a myocardial infarction. As a tragic scenario of mythology, two brothers who shared every moment with each other, passed away on the same day.
"They were very loving, very, I have no words. The little boy was a child who took care of both his brother and his father", says the uncle of the two brothers.
"He hit the right side, the right leg. They kept him for 10 days in 'Gennimatas', he was operated on, they put irons on him and on the 8th of the month they took him to 'Armonia'", says the uncle of the family.
A few days after the accident, the younger brother's phone rang and the doctor from the rehabilitation center asked him to meet closely, as his brother was showing signs of deterioration.
And that's where the family tragedy begins. In the death certificate of the 38-year-old Thodori, he writes that the cause of death was pulmonary embolism and the time of death is 14:15.
His 32-year-old brother, upon hearing the death, could not bear it and six hours later, exactly at 8:12 p.m., he died of a myocardial infarction."
