Ukrainian President Zelensky has given a message to his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron. In his evening address to the Ukrainian nation, President Volodymyr Zelensky said international leaders must show Moscow they are ready to respond to a possible Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
"Now the whole world must understand that common security depends entirely on global attention to the actions of the plant's residents ," Zelensky said.
Yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia may prepare a provocation at the occupied Zaporizhzhia plant "in the near future."
According to the General Staff, Russian forces planted objects resembling explosive devices on the roof of the plant's third and fourth power units, possibly to simulate a Ukrainian attack.
