The US has reacted after a devastating airstrike by the Russian military in the Ukrainian capital, which killed at least 12 people and injured dozens more.
One of the strongest voices was that of Keith Kellogg, senior advisor and envoy to Donald Trump on Ukraine issues.
In a response published on social media, Kellogg strongly condemned the Russian aggression and called for an immediate halt to the attacks. Kellogg stressed that these attacks are shameful and a clear violation of the Protocol written on social media to condemn the bombing of Moscow.
"The indiscriminate killing of women and children at night in their homes is a clear violation of the 1977 Geneva Peace Protocols, designed to protect the innocent. These attacks are shameful. Stop the killings. Ceasefire now ," he said.
