If Donald Trump wins the US presidential election, there is a possibility that he will take a tougher approach in the Balkans.
Security expert Adrian Shtuni said that especially Kosovo will have to take into account the advice of the United States of America.
"We are far from talking about specifics, since it is about 2025. I think that Trump's approach to the Balkans will be the same as to the rest of the world. There will be discussions but also a "take it or leave it" approach. He doesn't care much about hanging around and spoiling his allies, nor does he discuss for too long," Shtuni said.
According to him, in case of Trump's victory, greater cooperation will be required from Kosovo.
"We understand that Trump comes to power and the allies say to Kosovo, you must cooperate, we must take decisions together, you must consult before making a decision, as it affects us, it affects the well-being of Kosovo and it affects us, if it starts to ignore advice continuously as happened in Kosovo, if all this continues, Trump will have a tougher approach. Something which would not be in favor of Kosovo", said Adrian Shtuni in Euronews.
