Former US President Donald Trump is really scared this time.
It is true that he orchestrated the arrest in the Atlanta jail as an election ad, presented himself as a victim of political persecution, returned to his former Twitter account to post his image as a "criminal" and swear that it will never be surrendered. In fact, he's already selling t-shirts and mugs with his picture taken from Fulton Prison.
So Donald Trump wants to get the best possible from the legal process started against him in the American state of Georgia, where he is accused of illegally overturning the election result in the 2020 presidential election. John Bolton, who served as national security adviser under the Trump presidency, said the image was likely carefully composed to appear intimidating to prosecutors and judges.
"I think it's like most things Trump does, carefully staged. They must have thought about what look they wanted, he could have smiled, he could have looked good, instead he looks like a thug," said former Trump adviser John Bolton.
Citizens consider this a comical and interesting development.
"I would wear one of his shirts. It's ridiculous. It's like the whole political scenario in the US is really a comedy at this point, so it's funny," said one citizen.
"It's an iconic photograph. Trump looks like a villain from a superhero book, so it's like frozen in time. This is something that will remain forever", says a seller.
An opinion related to that image has also come from the American president, Joe Biden, complimenting Trump with the assessment that he looks like a "handsome boy".
