The head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has reportedly arrived in Belarus today, and according to a US intelligence official, he is staying in one of the few hotels in Minsk that have no windows.
" He's in one of the only hotels in Minsk that doesn't have any windows ," US Senate Intelligence Chairman Mark Warner told NBC News.
According to him, Prigozhin and the Belarusian authorities who have undertaken to ensure his life are afraid of an assassination that could come from the Russian secret service. However, there are still many speculations about the head of Wagner, who has not been seen anywhere since Saturday.
He simply posted a video on his Telegram channel yesterday explaining the reasons for withdrawing from the counteroffensive. But there are suspicions on the web that he may have been kidnapped by the Russian service, however, all these remain in the ranks of Internet theories that cannot be confirmed.
However, we recall that Prigozhin went to Belarus as part of an agreement to end the armed rebellion of his group.
