Hamas points the finger at the US: They are the main ones responsible for the attack on the hospital

The United States is responsible for the deadly Israeli attack on al-Ahli hospital in Gaza. This is what the leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, has declared.

"The US bears responsibility for the attack on the hospital because of the cover it gives to Israeli aggression," Haniyeh said.

Haniyeh added that the attack confirmed Israel's "brutality" and the extent of its "loss" after the October 7 incident.

He also called for Palestinians in the West Bank to rise up against Israeli occupation - just as thousands are protesting in the streets of Ramallah.
