Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered the opening speech of the Security Council at the UN, after the debates that took place between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Russian ambassador, regarding this speech.
Zelensky started his speech by thanking Albania for organizing this meeting. He then took stock of the 754 days of Russia's unprovoked war in Ukraine, where thousands of people have died and millions of families have been displaced.
He added that Russia aims to undermine all international norms that seek to protect the world from wars through this aggression.
Zelenksy said, among other things, that she is ready to sit down for peace talks at the level of advisers to discuss the 10-point plan that Kiev has proposed, as she closed her speech with the words "may peace and glory prevail in Ukraine".

Any participation in the Security Council must be suspended in that state that relies on aggression in violation of the UN Charter, aggression against the integrity and sovereignty of the territory must be fought. We have to see what we can lose if we go to war. We must not wait, we must act now. All peace-loving countries can cooperate., Zelensky said.
