A tragic event occurred on Friday evening in Mexico, where three gunmen opened fire during a party in Ciudad Obregon, killing 6 people and injuring 26 others.
Two of the victims and five of the injured are minors. Four people were transported to the hospital in serious condition, while 13 others are now out of danger.
According to prosecutors in the state of Sonora, the shooting may have been an attack on a suspected member of a drug cartel, wanted for murder and other crimes, who was killed as he tried to escape.
A fourth gunman who took part in the attack was at the party and helped other members escape, losing track. Sonora has been the scene of bloody turf battles between various drug gangs for years.
