The four arrested accused of carrying out Friday's terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall on the outskirts of Moscow, where 137 people were killed, have been remanded in custody for two months. It is believed that their detention period may be extended, while it has not yet been determined when the trial will start.

The four accused of "terrorism" risk life imprisonment.

Two defendants are said to have pleaded guilty: Dalerzon Mirzoev and Saidakrami Murondali Ratchabalizonda. According to the BBC, they addressed the court in Tajik with the help of an interpreter. The other two are called Samsindin Faridouni and Muhammadsobir Faizov.

Russian authorities have said that the defendants are "foreign nationals", without specifying their nationality. The RIA Novosti news agency reported that one of the defendants worked at a beauty salon in the city of Ivanovo, northeast of Moscow. Another is the father of an eight-month-old baby, a factory worker in the town of Poldosk, on the outskirts of the Russian capital. The Islamic State jihadist organization claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack. Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed, without providing evidence, that some people in Ukraine had made preparations to help terrorists cross the Russian border. Kiev has denied any involvement in the attack.

Those arrested for the terrorist attack in Moscow were blindfolded for questioning. They were taken to a building for questioning, as seen in a video released by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. In the video, the suspects are seen being held by security guards as they are taken out of the trucks and sent for questioning, with visible signs of violence on their faces.
