Moscow confirmed that United States President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation this Monday.
This is the first conversation between the two leaders in about two months, but also the first contact since the outbreak of war with Iran, a development that has increased international tensions and concerns about regional stability.
According to information published by the Russian side, the conversation focused mainly on the situation in Iran and negotiations for a solution to the crisis in Ukraine.
