"This had never happened"/ Vucic fears punishment: Someone from Serbia
Aleksandar Vucic

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has accused the Serbian opposition of sabotaging him in the international arena.

"Someone has sent Borrell a letter from Serbia, not to impose sanctions on Kurt, nor on those who mistreat people. They have written to impose sanctions on their country. This had never happened, anywhere, in any country. Do you understand?” he said.

Vucic added that the opposition did this only for political and personal gains. He repeated the usual complaint that he expects a lot of international pressure after the recent developments and that he is waiting for the package that will be sent to Belgrade by the "big five" officials of France, the USA, Italy, Germany and the EU.

On October 21, Serbia is visited by Miroslav Lajcak, Gabriel Escobar, Emmanuel Bonn, Jens Plotner and Francesco Talo. The Serbian president also addressed the issue with Milan Radiçiç, who organized and carried out the armed attack on September 24 in Banjska, Kosovo.

Vucic said that the former vice-president of the Serbian List will be tried by the Serbian authorities and announced that investigations are also being carried out in the security circles of the Serbian army for possible failures of individuals in their work and for possible connections with Radoicic.
"The prosecutor is pursuing him for serious crimes, which he himself has admitted. It was not necessary to listen to anyone else. The investigation will continue and then charges will be filed. This will show where the illegal money and weapons came from. Finding this out is our international obligation and it will be done."

The Serbian president also announced that he will be in New York on October 23 to attend the United Nations Security Council session on the UNMIK report.
